This day went cold and wet almost instantly. Clouds dropped into the forested slopes and started moving through the trees like a curtain being pulled and released. That rolling fog created the separation the scene needed—dark evergreens, lighter mist, and the steep mountain face fading in and out of view. In black and white, the whole moment becomes texture and atmosphere: silhouettes, haze, and a soft glow where the cloud thins.
