Training Day
Training Day is a black-and-white San Luis Valley, Colorado cowboy print made while I was filming and photographing a working ranch as part of a regenerative agriculture documentary. This is a simple moment in the corral: a cowboy training his horse with patience and repetition. I like this image because it shows the real work behind what the horse is used for later—herding cattle across open range. The black and white keeps it clean and timeless, and it fits well as western wall art in an office, hallway, or living room.
